This flooring creates a bright, contemporary feel while retaining all the natural character and warmth of genuine European oak. The generous 220mm wide planks help to open up the space, creating a seamless flow from room to room and making the kitchen and hallway feel larger and more inviting.
The 15/4mm engineered construction provides excellent stability, making it suitable for modern homes and underfloor heating systems, while the 4mm oak wear layer allows for future sanding and refinishing if required. A subtle soft bevel on each board defines the plank edges without creating deep grooves, giving a clean and sophisticated appearance.
Finished in a Natural Oil, the oak's authentic grain patterns, knots and tonal variations are beautifully enhanced rather than masked. Warm honey tones, subtle golden highlights and natural mineral streaks are visible throughout the boards, creating a timeless look that complements both traditional and contemporary interiors. The natural oil finish also gives the floor a low-sheen, matt appearance that feels warm and organic underfoot.
As shown in these images, the combination of wide planks and a natural oiled finish works particularly well alongside the white shaker-style kitchen, oak worktops and black accents, providing a perfect balance between modern design and natural materials. The floor brings texture and character to the space while maintaining a light, airy feel, making it equally suited to open-plan living areas, hallways and kitchens.
