Jo and Charles Chisholm were looking for a flooring solution that would enhance the character and charm of their home while offering the durability required for modern family living. Their goal was to create a warm, welcoming interior with a timeless oak floor that would seamlessly complement the property's traditional features and interior design.

After exploring the available options, Jo selected our beautiful 220mm wide engineered oak planks in a Rustic grade. The flooring features a substantial 20mm construction with a generous 6mm oak wear layer, providing exceptional longevity and the ability to be refinished in the future if required. Finished with a subtle two-way micro bevel and supplied in random lengths ranging from 1.8m to 2.8m, the floor delivers a natural, authentic appearance that showcases the character and beauty of European oak.

The combination of wide boards, rustic grading and varied plank lengths creates a stunning sense of space while highlighting the oak's natural grain, knots and unique features, resulting in a floor that perfectly balances timeless elegance with everyday practicality.
